What is web spam? Web spam is when webmasters cheat and use unethical methods to make their websites show up higher in the search engines than it should. The basic root cause of spam is money!
Hidden or invisible related text is when one disguises keywords and phrases by making them the same color as the background, using a tiny font size, or hiding them within HTML code such as "noframe" sections, ALT attributes, zero-width/height DIVs, and "no script" sections.
Another example is keyword stuffing. This involves placing every possible misspelling of a word on a page hoping to attract traffic by those who can’t spell or hit a wrong key by accident.
Basically, Google is getting smarter and smarter. SEO is not magic and thus it takes a lot of hard work as well as a good work ethic to get the results you want. There are no shortcuts to the method.
